ACCOUNTANT (Practice Experience An Advantage) ACA, ACCA CIMA or ICAEW Qualified 1 - 2 years post qualified- Yeovil - £28 - £30K + Benefits
Fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant, ideally TWO TO FIVE YEARS, post qualified, with practice experience to report into the Financial Controller and become part of a small, but diligent, highly professional team, that run a very efficient machine for a highly successful business group. The role profile is as follows:

To assist producing accurate and timely preparation of all financial and management information.
Responsibilities include:
Financial and Management Information
To prepare the following information for various business interests, which include Limited Companies, Partnerships, Trusts, Pension Schemes and other charitable entities. Personal tax knowledge would also be an advantage. All information must be prepared accurately and within the timescale set.
Assisting in preparations of monthly management report comparing actual performance to budget
Assisting in preparation of personal tax
Preparing and assisting annual financial statements to audit standard
Information Technology
To assist with managent the IT infrastructure of the office with external technical support to ensure that business interruptions are kept to an absolute minimum.
To proactively investigate potential improvements or developments to the system and make suggestions that will enable greater cost effective work flexibility.
Projects
From time to time you will be required to undertake specific project work which will enable you to use your research, analytical and presentation skills in order for you to be able to express an informed opinion.
Experience Required:
We are looking for a good all round accountant preferably with Practice experience with an accountancy qualification of one of the following (ICAEW, ACCA, ACA , CIMA) You will be ideally two to five years post qualified.
You must have the ability to communicate with various professional advisors and intermediaries.
