Our client based in Swindon is looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join their successful business.
Position Summary
To promote an ethic of dedicated service to all customers and to ensure that Company financial aspects are managed.
Major Responsibilities
To call customers chasing overdue amounts from dunning reports and from 90 day report to resolve issues effectively securing payments.
To deal with incoming telephone calls to the department, ensuring that they are dealt with promptly, efficiently and speedily.
To enter daily cash onto the system, correctly allocating to customer remittance.
To send daily receipt reports to managers and update cash collection report.
Update on hold file and advise Customer Services of these accounts.
Update remittance details onto customer account.
Approval of transactions so that orders can be released.
To resolve all queries on customer accounts as quickly as possible.
Monitor credit limits and review when necessary as per Company procedure.
Review payment plans, chasing were necessary
General housekeeping on accounts.
Advise and provide information when accounts are to be passed to Debt Collection.
To participate in any and all reasonable work activities as may be deemed suitable and assigned by management including holiday and sickness cover.
To provide information to management when issues are arising regarding their accounts.
To complete all general accounting duties in a timely, efficient and professional manner.
