The tasks and responsibilities of a Project Group Co-ordinator vary to suit the needs of each project team but are typically drawn from some or all of the following:
- Organise, attend and minute project team meetings, including follow-up of action points.
- Manage allocation of IT hardware and software.
- Ensure that the IT requirements of the group are notified to IT Support.
- Assist with resource planning.
- Managing business travel arrangements for the team.
- Maintain informed position on team diaries, taking messages and managing interfaces with external and internal contacts.
- Maintenance of the project team’s intranet site.
- Have a good understanding of the filing system and prepared to get involved in filing and archiving.
Candidate Skills required:-
- Excellent computer and IT skills including; Word, Excel, PowerPoint and experience of using spreadsheets and databases.
- Knowledge of Quark desirable (desk top publishing package) - training can be provided.
- Experience of setting up and maintaining administrative procedures and quality management systems.
- Good communication skills
- Confident, proactive character, with the ability to take the lead in
- challenging situations.
- Ability to problem solve and think on your feet.
- Experience of supporting a team of people as well as working on a one to one basis.

Salary: £16 -£17k base dependent on relevant experience
