The Role:
The role will see you undertaking and assisting in a wide range of consulting activities, both technical and
management:
Production and risk
-Production strategy
-Plant design, construction and commissioning
-Technical due diligence
-Supply chain analysis
-Regulations
-Construction project management
-Quality systems
Management consulting
-Strategy review and development
-Competition analysis
-Business planning
-Feasibility studies
-Commercial and market due diligence
-Financial modelling
This is a very varied role and you will be expected to undertake a wide variety of tasks including market research,
technical consulting, regulatory consulting and product development.
Working within a small team, you will be expected to work under minimal supervision, working proactively to
seek solutions and complete work efficiently and in an organised manner.
You will have a level of interaction with clients from the outset during assignments and the presentation of
results. In preparation for future advancement, you will be encouraged to manage and develop your own portfolio
of clients, including initial contact, proposal writing, pitching and closing sales.
What you will learn
This is a challenging role and it will be supported by substantial training opportunities. Formal training will be
made available as an important part of your development within the role, although the majority of knowledge will
be gained through on-the-job training. Our client fully supports engineers in achieving chartership and provides the
ideal environment to do so.
You will be working closely with your team manager who will act as your mentor. You may also work closely
with members of staff in other departments, offering assistance where required.
The role will provide broad exposure to marketing, finance and technical disciplines and to the operations of a
number of blue-chip multinational clients, working on mission critical projects.
The Person:
This is a challenging role with significant potential for career development. We seek a highly ambitious candidate
with the following:
-Outstanding academic credentials
-MEng or equivalent qualified from any engineering discipline
-minimum of 2:1
-Some industrial experience preferable but not essential
-A reasonable level of AutoCAD proficiency advantageous
-Extremely motivated individual
-Highly numerate with exceptional skills in mathematical problem solving
-Excellent communication and presentation skills
-Resourceful, energetic and friendly team player with mature and confident outlook
-Languages a distinct advantage

The company provides health cover after 12 months’ service and operates a sick pay scheme. Holiday entitlement is 20 days a year increasing by one day per full year up to a maximum of 25, with an additional 3 days at Christmas. A stakeholder pension scheme is offered to all permanent employees.
