Education Officer 

Our client based in Swindon requires an Education Officer to provide administrative support for the programme of accreditation visits to Higher Education Institutions. Duties will include:

- Maintenance of the register of assessors
- Checking and despatch of accreditation visit documents
- Liaison with venue booking partner regarding hotels, meeting rooms and catering arrangements,
- Updating of the Membership Information database
- Arrange committee meetings; prepare, collate and distribute agendas, papers, actions, minutes and decision letters.
- Ensure agendas, papers, actions and minutes are put on the secure web area.
- Process documentary submissions and deal with queries from Committee members.
- Set up and organise the training programmes

Other responsibilities
- Provide second line advice to other Departments (e.g. customer services, examinations, membership operations) about details of course accreditations and on applications for membership which are based on non-standard qualifications or where conditions need to be met on exempted/accredited qualifications.
- Input accredited courses onto the Membership Information database and accreditation database as required.
- Other administrative support and liaison activities as required.
- The post holder will be required to carry out other tasks as required from time to time by their Line Manager.

- Ability to take accurate minutes and produce accreditation visit reports
- Ability to work with senior academics
