Key Tasks
Promotions
• Liaise with the sales manager to ensure that we have a promotional plan for the six months ahead
• Liaise either internally or externally to ensure that all promotions are produced in a professional format for sending out to customers
• Ensure monthly promotions are provided to the sales team on first working day of the month. Ensure every monthly promotion has a ‘high profile’ throughout the month across the entire business. Manage the distribution of such promotions to customers and prospects via electronic means and hard copy.
• Monitor and measure sales and gross profit of all promotions to evaluate whether it has worked. Build the feedback into future promotional plans.
• Use e-marketing tools to email promotions to customers and prospects.
Customer Communication
• Ensure all customer communication is completed for:
o Seasonal shutdowns
o Catalogue or desktop calendar ordering
o Christmas cards
o Follow up new account letter
o All general ad-hoc communication that is required from time to time to get to customers
• Complete end-user monthly customer satisfaction calls in key customers in line with current service level agreements
• Respond to all customer catalogue and other requests generated via our website
Design Agency Liaison
• Manage design process for all catalogue covers
• Manage design process for desktop calendars and any other similar projects
• Manage other marketing projects as they are specified from producing the initial design brief to proof reading the copy.
Marketing Support
• Organise the mailing out of the price break mailers (2 x year) and liaise internally to ensure prices and special offers are correct on our internal and e-commerce systems.
• Manage and organise customer exhibitions as required including organising the provision of all support material, samples, give-aways etc.
• Liaise with suppliers to gain marketing support in terms of:
o Financial support for key marketing projects (e.g. desktop calendar) – achieved in conjunction with the purchasing team
o Exhibition support
o Attendance of sales meetings
o Providing samples of products for use with our customer base
o Supporting end user visits as and when required
• Organise all customer sample and promotional packs for new accounts or contract re-launches

• Manage the website including all updates and amendments
• Organise and produce a range of communications/letters for use by the sales team
• Provide support in creating customer presentations
• Organise any advertising as and when required
