Working within the marketing department you will have responsibility for the companies internal communications and assist the assist with their website. Internal Comms Responsibilities
Intranet:
• Manage basic day to day requirements and content • Provide basic level training to end users and new superusers • Support company-wide local super users as first point of contact in planning sites sharing best practice and encouraging usage by explaining advantages as a communication tool • Contribute to the overall direction and strategy for intranet into the future • Support Internal Communications Manager in promoting and educating staff in usage of intranet • Liaise with IT to keep abreast of intranet issues, innovations, requests and content • Contribute to and help run the super user panel • Monitor and respond to comments on feedback forum General:
• Support Internal Communications Manager in delivering communications for cross company initiatives • Build relationships with key people worldwide to enable internal communications team to deliver high impact comms programmes • Support and cover for when required the internal comms writer in producing bi monthly staff magazine and fortnightly e-newsletter • Basic and occasional input in arranging meetings and general administration support for the team Website Responsibilities

• Monitor site statistics and provide monthly reports on these. Identify ways to optimise the site in order to make it as effective as possible. Liaise with search optimisation providers to ensure BH achieves high ranking. o Updating content (daily) of key site areas (for both BH and HC sites): o New project pages and associated images o People information e.g. promotions, key new starters, principals, key people (team leaders) o Awards section of site
o News section – adding press releases issued o Content across the site, as business reasons dictate • Reporting any technical issues to the site’s developer/technical provider (external company) and working with them to resolve such issues • Ensuring the BH website contains all information required for legal compliance • Responding to enquiries in a timely manner relating to the site received from people within BH • Monitor competitor websites to ensure the site is a market leader • Working with Head of Marketing (HoM) to identify ways to evolve the site so that it is refreshed including new content, proposing changes to make the site as user friendly as possible and to achieve strategic advantage. • Project Management and implementation of site changes in keeping with any strategic reworks of the site, liaising with internal clients, marketing team and external suppliers. • Cover and maintain all associated administration tasks associated with the website including: o Subscriptions to web hosting companies o Invoicing and monitoring of support contract with website suppliers o Filing of site related information (domain name registration, account/password details etc) o Purchasing of domain names

Person Profile
• Ability to multi task and prioritise - essential • Must be self starter. Needs to take initiative and think pro-actively. • Friendly and outgoing and excellent relationship building skills with mature can-do attitude • Persistent – when asking for and chasing information from busy individuals across the business • Ability to carry out research
• Team player - happy to do whatever needs to be done and support rest of the team Skills Required
• Photoshop
• Basic knowledge of how websites work – programming skills not required • Knowledge of Content Management System (CMS) an advantage but training will be provided • Microsoft Office software packages • Good English language skills – experience of proof reading and writing an advantage • Excellent communications
• Ability to engage with employees at all levels and from all cultures
