IT Developer Job Description:
Job Overview
Our clients are looking for an IT developer to join their small in-house development team. This team is responsible for developing new bespoke applications and customising and supporting core business systems including Sharepoint and CRM as well as small bespoke legacy systems such as risk analysis tools, library monitoring systems etc. The team operates in an Agile development environment. This client uses predominantly Microsoft technologies.
Key Technical Skills required:
Candidates should be proficient (ie have a two years commercial experience with a demonstrable development portfolio) in:
- ASP.Net Development utilising C# or VB.NET
- SQL Server/T-SQL
- HTML/ CSS
Not essential but preference will be given to candidates who have experience in:
- Sharepoint 2007
- Web Services
Additionally knowledge of the following would also be helpful
- Javascript/AJAX
- Sage CRM
- Windows Forms
Procedures and Techniques:
We are looking for someone who has worked in a structured and professional environment to a recognised methodology across the entire project life cycle including experience in business analysis and testing.
Working Environment
The work will involve dealing with mainly internal clients and candidates must be polite, professional, with reasonable communication skills and used to dealing with senior staff. There may be limited travel to other offices.
