My client is looking for someone to join them to work as an operations assistant. Ideally you will have already been in a financial/accounts position and know it is what you want. This company is looking for someone who wants to take some exams and knows which ones appeal - this will be encouraged and sponsored by the company.
The role will begin as a mix of HR and Finance so you know the company very well and then develop into a more financial role. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone interested in developing a career in finance and looking for company sponsorship.
The role initially will be to provide administrative and logistical support to the Operations Manager to help ensure the smooth running of the organisation.
Finance
• Raising invoices and ensuring money is received in a timely manner
• Paying invoices
• Resolving invoice queries
• Checking and paying expense claims for internal staff
• Day to day management of accounts package, data imputing
• Reconciliation of bank accounts and credit cards
• Providing financial reports
• Filing all financial documentation
• Banking cheques
Human Resources
• Maintaining personnel records for internal staff
• Holiday management
• Sickness monitoring
• Health & Safety
• Drafting contracts of employment for internal staff and Terms of Business for clients
• Managing employee benefits for internal staff (eg pension, healthcare)
• Assisting with HR related projects
Supplier Management
• Point of contact for suppliers
• Problem resolution
• Monitoring of services and costs
• (To include IT, telecoms, supplies, utilities, security, insurance etc)
Miscellaneous
• Miscellaneous tasks as and when required which may include:
• Filing
• Typing
• Research
• Bookings
