Business Support Coordinator required to join a team of 3, part of a large Financial Services organisation based in Yate.
Key accountabilities:-
- To produce technical reports in respect of Corporate Pensions and Group Risk schemes as required.
- To assist the Directors and Consultants with the development of enquiries received from prospective clients through to appointment of our services.
- To provide assistance with the research of all Group products and carry out regular review of products available in the market, to ensure competitiveness.
- Maintain and develop technical knowledge with specific reference to legislative changes and ensure clients are informed promptly of any action required.
- Provide effective and efficient support to the existing Sales Support teams ensuring existing Schemes are maintained in line with current legislation.
- Carrying out project work as required by Director, Manager and Consultants.
- To deal with all technical queries in a professional and efficient manner.
- Accountable for the audit and reconstruction of Group Pension and Group Risk Schemes and the winding-up of occupational schemes.
- Production of scheme booklets.
- Responsible for the drafting of various technical documents.
Key skills and experience:-
1. Strong technical pensions knowledge.
2. Flexible attitude to work and the ability to work as part of a busy team with high volumes of work.
3. Technical experience in dealing with Group Personal Pension/Stakeholder Schemes, Defined Benefit and Defined Constribution Schemes and Group Life and PHI Schemes
4. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
5. Excellent PC skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
