Executive Vacancy

My client, who is large company with offices worldwide, has a new vacancy for a Systems Data Manager. 

The role will be responsible for ensuring that the static and dynamic data within the SAP ERP and related systems is accurate and provides the level of reporting and process excellence required to improve the business. It covers all product lines in the UK and Ireland. In this role you will need to:

 Ensure the data within SAP and associated systems drives accurate reporting.
 Ensure the data within SAP and associated systems enables process and business improvement.
 Assist with any restructuring or changes in operational activity to ensure data integrity and a smooth transition of work from a SAP operating system perspective.
 Provide ad hoc reports and data extracts as requested.
 Manage and provide direction to drive data integrity with SAP.
 Manage the migration of data as work transitions between plants.
 Provide necessary expertise or intelligence to existing projects as and when required.
 Ensure the Master/Local Data Organisations are providing appropriate levels of support to the business.

The Person

The successful candidate will have a strong background in data management and data analysis having the ability to work on their own and within the team. They will be analytical in analysing information and a good communicator.
In particular we will be looking for someone with:
 Excellent Excel/Access/SQL skills.
 Knowledge of SAP table structures (SEL6N) and knowledge of data fields.
 Business experience preferably in an Industrial environment.
 Communication and inter-personal skills
 Ability to be proactive around business metrics.
 Full current driving licence and ability to visit all facilities as required
