We have a brilliant opportunity for someone who has experience of running a business. Our client is a charity however you do not necessarily have to have charity experience to apply for this role but it would be an advantage. However ability to run a business is more important.
This charity requires someone who will be responsible for managing, overseeing and implementing all their activities both in the UK and abroad including:
* leading and managing the charity, volunteers and its infrastructure
* The student programme
* Managing and monitoring international projects
* Assessing and facilitating new projects and applications for support
* Liaising with project partners abroad
* Managing their accounting and financial systems
* Acquisition of external funds/grants
* Promotion of marketing and publicity
They are looking for someone who has experience ideally in the charity sector, managerial and administrative experience, excellent organisational and communication skills as well as strong motivation. Degree level candidates (or equivalent) essential.
