Tutors required
(Must have Fento level 4 specialism in Literacy or Numeracy)
Location - Swindon
Hours 9.00 - 5.00pm - Mon - Friday
Salary £16000 - 18000
Our client based in Swindon is looking for 2 tutors to join their team. You will be assisting within the Learn Direct programme, tutoring candidate who have enrolled on English, Maths and IT Courses. You will be the first point of contact for all candidates, mentoring them through the courseware, marking assignments and giving feedback and assistance were needed. The courses are PC based however you will be located within the training venue and on hand for distance learners and also students that attend the training facilities.
You will need to be educated to GSCE level grade A - C in Maths and English and also be competent with the use of Word, Excel and PowerPoint. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to deal with people at all levels with patience and empathy. This job role will also require candidates to be highly organised with attention to detail to in relation to marking of paperwork for auditing purposes.
