Our client based in Swindon is currently seeking a Lean Accountant. The key tasks of the job are to support the accelerated Lean manufacturing program at Bridgend and Swindon, reporting into the Head of Controlling.
Key Tasks of the Job:
• Working closely with UK CI team in rolling out an accelerated Lean manufacturing program at Bridgend and Swindon.
• Generate and report actual progress against weekly financial and non financial metrics for each Lean event, to operators & senior management team.
• Interpret and analytically review information at cell, plant and company level.
• Drive and develop operational improvements by ensuring appropriate monitoring plans & corrective actions are in place.
• Operate and lead within a CI team and communicate cross functionally at senior management level and across all entities.
• Ability to project manage and deliver multiple improvement projects.
Experience / Qualifications Required:
• Qualified CIMA/ACCA accountant
• Demonstrated experience in manufacturing (preferably in a Lean environment)
• SAP Experience preferable
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Good spreadsheet skills (preferably accomplished in excel)
