Assistant Management Accountant
- Working as part of the team responsible for the monthly US GAAP financial reporting for the Network of the group and smaller UK companies, using SAP and Hyperion.
- Completion of supplemental financial reporting schedules for US parent.
- Reconciliation of financial results to corporate sales and cost of sales databases.
- Investigation and resolution of intracompany differences.
- Responsible for accurate reporting of rent, rates and insurances.
- Prepayments and accruals.
- Supporting smaller business units with UK financial reporting.
- Day-to-day monitoring of inventory-in-transit accounts, including review of aged items.
- Interaction with internal, external and Sarbanes Oxley auditors.
- Ad hoc analysis and reporting.
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Part qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, AAT or similar accountancy qualification).
- Strong Excel skills, including familiarity with pivot tables, are essential.
- The ability to work to tight deadlines and manage conflicting priorities.
- SAP knowledge would be beneficial, but training can be provided.
- Hyperion knowledge would be beneficial, but training can be provided.
- Ability to communicate at all levels.
- Proven experience of working in and contributing to a team.
