Purpose of Position
- To assist the marketing manager in the implementation of tactical marketing plans relating to the UK direct and indirect product set.
- To support product managers in the delivery of projects, ensuring they are planned to achieve specific timescales and deadlines.
- To ensure that all activity is aligned to corporate strategy and meets the company financial and brand objectives
Accountabilities
- Ensuring projects are planned and executed in accordance with agreed deadlines and timescales
- On time implementation of marketing plans and Dealer Programme in line with the operating plans
- Implementation of plans should avoid any conflict there may be between the direct and indirect channels
- Ensure compliance to corporate branding guidelines as defined by the US
Responsibilities
- Work closely with product and sales managers to scope out projects, agree plans and implement them.
- Understanding of sales channels and customer profiles to understand and build improved future visibility of the corporate and product brands
- Monitor the performance of the marketing activity and make recommendations to the Marketing Manager-Europe to drive the business forward
- Proactively communicate marketing plans to the relevant business leaders and sales management
- Work in conjunction with sales managers to visit customers to apply customer focus and feedback in to activities
- Effectively manage the creation and production of sales literature, including product line leaflets, catalogues, technical manuals price lists and training material in line with agreed budgets
- Work with the overseas sales management to provide marketing support material in the local language
- Ongoing review of internal department processes and to drive business improvement and time effectiveness

- To actively support the marketing manager and product managers at all times and to make an active contribution to the marketing team as a whole
