Our client based in Swindon is looking for a Marketing Manager to plan and execute effective marketing campaigns.

The key responsibilities of the position:

•Develop, maintain and take ownership of annual campaigns for membership recruitment and retention in accordance with agreed targets, ensuring that these targets are met and the requisite number of new members is recruited.
•Report to senior managers on the success of individual campaigns and on progress towards meeting the annual recruitment targets, with recommendations for action, where appropriate.
•Manage launch promotion of new products and services
•Develop appropriately creative campaigns comprising the promotional offer for the target audience – schedule, execute, deliver and analyse the results
•Manage the relationships and liaise on an ongoing basis with member services suppliers
•Increase awareness of the company and products/services in target markets

The ideal person will need to be:
•Educated to degree level or equivalent in Marketing, or a related degree
•or have previous experience in a Marketing role with promotional planning experience

Skills required:
•Creative skills with proven ability to write effective communications
•Excellent organisational skills, ability to use own initiative and attention to detail
•Promotional planning and implementation experience is essential
•Commitment to achieving and exceeding campaign performance targets
•Ability to cope with conflicting demands and to prioritise tasks in a multi-tasking role
•Good communication skills
•Positive attitude
•Customer focused
•Team player
•General proficiency, including the Microsoft Office suite
