We are looking to appoint an experienced major gift fundraiser who has the flair, confidence and motivation to substantially grow the Charity’s income from high net worth individuals – as yet, a relatively untapped source of support for the organisation.
In addition to managing a personal portfolio of high value donors and managing the Donor Relations team, an integral part of the role will be working with several very influential volunteer committees which specialise in events aimed at high net worth individuals supported by our clients team of event managers. The role will also provide the strategic direction and hands on support for the Charity’s various regional capital appeals. This includes motivating the appeal committees, working closely with project managers and ensuring effective communication both internally and externally amongst all the key stakeholders.
This exciting and challenging role requires the individual to be “out there”, forging relationships with new people and ensuring that existing donors and senior volunteers are valued.
You will have comprehensive knowledge of and evidence of success in Major Donor fundraising, capital appeals and event management.
