To perform legal assistant and company secretarial duties including contracts, pensions, property and other general trading areas
Specific responsibilities:
• Legal advice and support to the business across all international geographies and functional areas including liaison with external solicitors to obtain advice where required
• Production and review of trading agreements, terms and conditions of sale, supplier agreements, contracts as required
• Property Law and facility contract management
• Advice to the business around Commerical contract law
• Ensuring compliance with International and EU laws in all areas – advising the business on new or amendments to legislation and any impacts to the business
• Pension adminstration for both the Company and Trustees including coordination between the pension provider and the actuary
• Maintaining legal records as required for the business including filing and scanning
• Credit Management support
• Research and ad hoc projects
This role will interact with all levels of staff within international, and also with senior legal executives in the US, as well as external companies.
Person profile
Education and experience
Essential:
Degree level education
Company Secretarial Qualifications – completed or close to completion
Commerical experience – at least 2 years
Preferred:
Law degree
