An exciting opportunity to join an expanding IT support and services company. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical consultancy, technical engineering and technical support services to our rapidly expanding client base.
Tasks:
Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support, internally and externally, via telephone and on site.
Deliver a defined set of on-site technical engineering and technical consultancy services.
Identify new sales opportunity for technical IT services within our client base.
Personal Attributes:
A friendly, articulate but tenacious, individual with excellent interpersonal and telephone skills. The ability to work under pressure. Commercially aware. An enthusiastic person who is technically astute, willing to learn and comfortable taking ownership of technical issues.
Requirements:
A team player that possesses a good, customer focused, telephone manner and interpersonal skills. Previous experience of working in an IT services environment is mandatory. A positive attitude and a “can do” mentality.
Real word experience of technically implementing and supporting Microsoft products – these should include Windows NT/2000/2003 server and Windows 98/NT/XP Desktop in a business to business environment is mandatory. Knowledge of Macs is a definite advantage. The candidate must be Microsoft Certified. Knowledge of Hummingbird products would also be advantageous.
Hours of Work:
37.5 hours a week.
