Your Responsibilities will include:-
• Supervising a growing client services team of four and monitor their workload.
• Handling incoming client enquiries, either resolving these directly or understanding which individual or team to pass the enquiry to.
• Liaising with third party product providers and handle their queries or request for information.
• Communicating new business to Outsource Team, and any issues which may be relevant to the company and IFA relationship.
• Maintaining and manage a diary within our core client management system to ensure the timely completion of new business.
• Recording commissions against the portfolio and trail commission within the client management system on completion of the new business.
• Communicating with clients and both internal and external business producers keeping them informed as to the progress and completion of the new business process.
• Recording and analysing new business and account closure statistics for management accounting.
Skills and Qualifications:-
Previous Life Office/Industry experience is mandatory. You must be FPC qualified and have strong IT skills preferably with knowledge of CRM and investing accounting systems. Previous experience as an absolute minimum of managing staff is essential. The role requires a good communicator, able to deal with both internal and external customers in a friendly and efficient manner, and familiarity with financial services. Ability to work using own initiative and maintain a very high standard of work under pressure as well as being confident in prioritizing a busy workload. Attention to detail is essential as well as an ability to use knowledge gained through training to problem solve and manage the teams work flow.
Remuneration and Development:-
All permanent members of staff receive death in service benefit, permanent health insurance, and membership of the company pension scheme (6% employer + 2% employee contribution). There is an annual discretionary bonus scheme. Holiday entitlement 25 days. Hours of work: 8.30am to 5.00pm. 3 month probationary period. Salary on commencement: £25,000+ pa.
