Our client, a financial services company is looking for a Client Services Assistant to report to the Client Services Manager based in their central Bath office.
Responsibilities:
- To process new client agreements and establish client portfolios within our investment management system. This will also include arranging in specie transfers of existing investments to our nominee company and the transfer of existing ISAs & PEPs.
- Handle incoming client enquiries, either resolving these directly or understanding which individual or team to pass the enquiry to.
- Communicate new business to Outsource Team, and any issues which may be relevant to the Rowan and IFA relationship.
- Maintain and manage a diary within our core client management system to ensure the timely completion of new business.
- Record commissions against the portfolio and trail commission within the client management system on completion of the new business.
- Communicate with clients and both internal and external business producers keeping them informed as to the progress and completion of the new business process.
Skills and Qualifications:
The role requires a good communicator, able to deal with both internal and external customers in a friendly and efficient manner, and familiarity with financial services. Ability to work using own initiative and maintain a very high standard of work under pressure as well as being confident in prioritizing a busy workload. Attention to detail is essential as well as an ability to use knowledge gained through training to problem solve and manage your work flow. Strong IT skills, numeracy and the ability to be a team player are essential.
