Sales Office Manager - Patchway - £25-28k (depending on experience)

Main Purpose of Job:
- To manage the Sales Co-ordinators to help ensure thatthe company sales and profit targets are achieved and exceeded
- To work in a constructive manner with and promote co-operation with other departments
- To be responsible for the development of all staff directly or indirectly supervised, ensuring Performance and Development Assessments are completed as required
- To share experience and knowledge with all relevant staff

Position in Organisation:
- Directly responsible to the Regional Business Manager (RBM) or where no RBM Regional Director
- Subordinates directly supervised are Sales Co-ordinators and Administrators
- Must liaise with the Logistics Manager to ensure company delivery dates are met through cost-effective management of Warehouse Staff and transport facilities at the location

Personal Activities:
- Manage the Intenal Sales Personnel
- Work in close conjunction with Transport & Logistics/Warehouse
- Work in close conjunction with Sales Executives, including joint visits
- Administer Sales & Purchase orders
- Utilise excellent customer service standards
- Develop existing accounts
- Initiate mail shots and follow them up
- Liaise with existing suppliers or where appropriate the Regional Purchasing Manager
- Source alternative Suppliers with Regional Purchasing guidance
- Be aware of the profit implication of selling stock as opposed to non-stock
- Be aware of the cost implications of transferring goods
- Chase up quotations
- Process orders, enquiries, quotations, invoices
- Ensure delivery dates are met
- Implement the Company's ISO 9002 policy
- Ensure stock levels are held at optimum levles
- Be a catalyst in ensuring that Sales lead information is conveyed between Sales Executives and Drivers
- Identify Potential Customers
