Economic Partnership Manager
This is a new position that has been created to drive forward this exciting Partnership.
The Economic Partnership Manager will assist the Partnership in developing and delivering an action plan that will meet the needs of business and the local economy.
The successful candidate will be working closely with both business and local government, and will have proven experience in these areas.
Duties/Responsibilities:
1. Complete a review of the needs of the economic needs. Identify and reach mutual agreement on specific actions to be delegated to the Partnership Manager. Achievement of these actions will become a key performance objective.
2. Research, consult and report to the Partnership.
3. Contribute to and co-ordinate others in the delivery of agreed actions.
4. On a quarterly basis, review performance and prepare written reports for the Partnership, and other parties.
5. Monitor the changing economic environment and identify opportunities or threats and make proposals to the Economic Partnership accordingly.
6. Work with the economic advisers to the Council, monitor funding opportunities and make proposals to the partners as to how these may be applied in furtherance of the action plan and objectives; re-prioritising as necessary.
Co-ordinate partners to submit timely bids for such funds.
Based in the Devizes area .
37½ hour week (Monday – Friday) with 25 days annual holiday plus statutory bank holidays with a salary range of up to £32,000
The role guaranteed for an initial period of two years but could be extended.
